German paper and cardboard packaging producer Schumacher Packaging is reportedly planning to acquire Polish insolvent paper producer Fabryka Papieru Myszkow, in Poland's south-western part.
Should the potential takeover be launched by the German firm, its investment could create 150 jobs at the paper plant, according to the information obtained by local daily Dziennik Zachodni.
The facilities of the insolvent production facility are to be put on an auction in mid-February.
The acquisition would be carried out by the company's Poland-based subsidiary Schumacher Packaging sp. z o.o.
