Newsprint price increases expected in Germany

Manufacturers are calling for a substantial price increase in Germany from January 2018 onwards, according to Euwid.

Lack of imports from Russia and North America, combined with good domestic demand, have had an impact on the balance between supply and demand on the German newsprint market. German manufacturers are reporting very good workloads to the point that they are unable to serve the spot market at present.
