U.S. paper producer to launch mill this year

U.S. manufacturer McKinley Paper Company is plan-ning to re-launch the paper mill in Port Angeles, in the state of Washing-ton, at full capacity this March.

 

The New Mexico-based company aims create some 150 jobs at the paper mill, according to the information obtained by local daily Peninsula Daily News. The facility in Port Angeles was previously operated by Japan’s Nippon Paper which shut down the paper mill about three years ago.

 

The paper mill will be fitted with new equipment worth about US$1 million.
