Pars Paper, one of the largest Iranian paper producers, plans to significantly the volume of its production and exports in years to come, according to recent statements, made by an official spokesman and some local media reports.
As part of the company’s plans is turning into one of the largest paper producers and exporters in the entire Middle East region.
In recent years, the company has achieved some progress in this field, as its paper exports have amounted to almost US$15 million in value terms in the last two years.
This has been recently confirmed by the company’s CEO Abdollah Moazeni.
According to him, in volume terms exports amounted to 20,000 tons, while among the biggest sale destinations for the company were India, China, Vietnam, Germany, France, Malaysia and Indonesia.
As Moazeni has also added, the company does not use wood in its paper production, instead of this using pulp and sugar cane pulp as a raw material in its manufacturing processes.
This year Pars Paper plans to increase its production by additional 20%, that will allow it to become the largest paper producer in Iran and one of the largest in the Middle East region.
