At the international trade fair PulPaper 2022 in Helinki, Finland, Finnish company MoveRoll demonstrates how they can move 10-ton paper rolls with compressed air alone. The compressed air elements are located in the floor.
MoveRoll is based in Porvo, Finland, and provides the global paper and pulp industry with roll handling systems. The first system was installed in 2009 at a paper mill in northern Finland. And three years ago, a similar installation was made in Smurfit Kappa's mill in Piteå.
- I was involved in the start-up of the system three years ago and supervised the installation, says Alexander Dubelman, product manager at MoveRoll.
MoveRoll says that its aim is tor revolutionize the roll handling industry with its innovative products.
