Rengo Co., Ltd. announces that its consolidated subsidiary, Tri-Wall Limited, has established a wholly-owned subsidiary (Action Wood Solutions, LLC) in the State of Michigan. Action Wood Solutions, established to purchase the business assets of Action Wood Technologies, Inc. in Michigan, has entered into an asset purchase agreement with the owners of Action Wood Technologies, Inc. The closing of this transaction will be dependent on the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) accepting the transaction.
Action Wood Technologies, Inc. is a heavy duty packaging manufacturer headquartered in the State of Michigan. Action Wood Technologies, Inc. manufactures wooden packaging products including nail-less and collapsible bespoke wooden crates which are sold to into a number of industrial customer segments including automotive and defense.
Rengo has developed its heavy duty packaging materials business including corrugated packaging globally through the Tri-Wall Group. With the addition of a wooden packaging manufacturing facility in United States, the Tri-Wall Group aims to expand its product portfolio and promptly respond to a wide range of packaging needs.
