The Fedrigoni Group has entered into an agreement with the Anglo-French multinational Arjowiggins to fully take over Guarro Casas, Spanish company with over 300 years of history, known for its strong skills in the finishing of specialty papers. The company is based in Gelida (Barcelona), where it operates with a plant that employs 140 people.

Guarro Casas is recognized as a market leader in the production of fine papers for creative and binding applications, particularly in finishing for luxury packaging, fine book covering and security applications. This acquisition enriches some market segments in which Fedrigoni already excels globally and will bring further production and commercial synergies in the future.

The high-profile know-how of the Spanish company in the production and finishing of specialty graphic papers, combined with complementary production technologies, significantly strengthen Fedrigoni’s proposal in the specialty papers business: the expansion of our portfolio will allow us to offer a service to customers even more effective and complete.
