Sofidel plans to expand its tissue converting plant at Circleville. The expansion of Sofidel's current 1.8 million square foot facility will enable the company to better meet the increase in demand for their products.
The project would create 100 new jobs for the toilet paper and paper towel manufacturer, which has nearly tripled production at its Central Ohio plant since 2018. Pending state and local approvals, construction is expected to be completed in 2025.
Sofidel America is a subsidiary of the Italian Sofidel Group. It was established in 2012 through the acquisition of the Cellynne tissue company.
