Brazilian company Suzano (SUZB3) has announced a 4 percent reduction in market pulp production volume for 2023 compared to its nominal capacity and historical volumes.
According to the company, this move is based on the fact that this volume production would not bring adequate returns for the company during a more complex pulp market period.
The company’s production capacity of market pulp is around 10.9 million tons per year.
A four percent reduction would be in the range of about 424,000 tons.
