New market data Ukraine’s Cardboard and Paper Company LLC made products worth around UAH 506.2 million (US$12.5 million) in the first five months of this year. This represented a drop of 3.5 percent compared with the January-May 2023 period.
Data sourced by local news site Open4Business.com.ua shows that the manufacturer decreased its output of cardboard products in the analysed period to some 9,400 tonnes, down 17.4 percent year-on-year. At the same time, it expanded its production of tissue paper to around 3,600 tonnes, up 27 percent compared with the same period of last year.
