Suzano expands platform that boosts sales of partners specialized in office supplies

This initiative is in line with the journey of Suzano's Paper and Packaging Unit, which has been working closely with its partners to provide customers in the segment with a more digital and agile experience.

Suzano, the world's largest producer of pulp and a global leader in the manufacture of bioproducts developed from eucalyptus, has developed a unique online platform to boost sales for partners focused on the world of office supplies. The goal of creating the marketplace is to connect customers, as well as small and medium-sized companies, with stationery stores and office supplies retailers, with the aim of strengthening these businesses by enabling another digital sales channel.

The platform is already active in some municipalities in the region, such as Indaiatuba, Limeira and Americana, and with the expansion of the project, it will also be available to entrepreneurs in Campinas.

Called the new service was developed with the support of technology partners and is focused on corporate clients such as law and accounting firms, schools and medical practices, among others. On the platform, these companies will find personalized service, multiple quotes, fast delivery, various payment methods (such as Pix and credit card) and a comprehensive product portfolio, which includes Suzano products, such as Report® paper, and the entire office supplies portfolio. Partners will be responsible for managing inventory, offering products and delivering materials to customers, with support from SupriJá for this management.

“This solution was created with the aim of keeping Suzano dealers increasingly competitive and, from there, also improving the consumer purchasing journey,” says Francisco Zambon, Marketplace Manager at Suzano. “These are companies that have often been operating in the office supplies market for many years, are traditional in their locations and are recognized by their neighborhoods. Therefore, it is important for them to be prepared to serve an increasingly digital and demanding market. I invite everyone to visit suprija.com and learn more about our platform,” adds Zambon.

The platform's choice of operation takes into account the volume of retailers specializing in office supplies in the respective locations, the ease of logistics and distribution, in addition to Suzano's consolidated base of paper customers in these regions.

SupriCamp is a partner

In Campinas, SupriCamp is one of the partners in this initiative. Having been in the market for over 15 years, the company sees SupriJá as an opportunity to promote growth and strengthen its presence in the market. “Our expectations are the best. We hope that SupriJá will bring us new customers and increase our revenue. We expect success in the medium and long term, as the platform consolidates and becomes better known throughout the region,” says Luiz Carlos de Angelis, owner of SupriCamp.

With no history of online sales, the businessman believes that the platform will help to increase his sales and customer base. “We believed in this project from the beginning. We had a few meetings to understand how SupriJá works and we signed up. We started 15 days ago, and we still can’t evaluate the results, but we are optimistic. With SupriJá we are able to work with e-commerce, something we didn’t have before, and I believe that this will bring us new customers. The platform will work as another important sales channel, generating business opportunities for our company,” he says.

SupriJa intends to expand its services to other cities in São Paulo during 2024. This initiative is in line with the journey of Suzano's Paper and Packaging Unit, which has been working closely with its partners to provide customers in the segment with a more digital and agile experience.
