PVL announces capacity increase for Primabake to meet rising demand

PVL plans to double the capacity of Primabake to approximately 65,000 metric tons per year by the end of 2027.

To meet the rising demand for parchment paper in baking applications, Papeteries des Vosges et du Leman group comprised of PDV, PDL and PVL Holdings, a global leader in baking paper production, has announced plans to double the capacity of Primabake to approximately 65,000 metric tons per year by the end of 2027.

Primabake is a premium, eco-friendly, and PFAS1-free baking paper.

According to PVL, the capacity expansion will be achieved by increasing the production capacity of Primabake on the PM62 machine in Publier (Evian, French Alps), and through enhanced collaboration with Papeterie des Vosges (PDV).

Papeteries des Vosges (PDV) and Papeteries du Leman (PDL) are leading specialty paper manufacturers of specialty thin print papers and Primabake parchment baking paper.
