Klabin achieves historic score in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index

Klabin, the largest producer and exporter of packaging paper and sustainable paper packaging solutions in Brazil, has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for the fifth consecutive year. Reaching 88 points on a scale of 100, the Company rose four points compared to the previous year, achieving its best score ever and consolidating its leadership position among companies in the Containers and Packaging sector. The announcement was made by S&P Global this Monday, the 16th.

In addition to remaining in the Global Index portfolio, Klabin was included in the Emerging Markets portfolio, reinforcing its international recognition as an example of good sustainability and transparency practices. Klabin's continued presence in the DJSI reflects the Company's commitment to leveraging sustainable initiatives and serves as an incentive for continued efforts on this front.

Created in 1999, the Dow Jones Sustainability Index is one of the most renowned corporate sustainability assessment tools, with rigorous criteria that cover corporate governance, risk management, ethics, environmental initiatives, defense of human rights and promotion of social development.
