Bellesbumprom, Belarus flagship pulp and paper producer, plans to significantly increase its output and expand the range this year, according to recent statements, made by Mikhail Kasko, head of the company.
According to him, the strategic goal of the industry is to ensure the production and sale of finished products with high added value. To achieve these goals the company has modernized almost all its capacities in the last 10 years.
At present the company’s range consists of more than 80 products and, as part of its plans, a further expansion of its range.
That will be also achieved by the increase of the depth of wood processing from 38% almost 100% in recent years.
According to Mikhail Kasko, if in the past the range of products made mainly from waste paper was limited (which is mainly due to low technical level of equipment and dependence on imports, such as bleached pulp) than in recent years it has been significantly expanded, which became mainly due to modernization of major paper and pulp-producing facilities in the country.
