The Leipzig-based German manufacturer of unique testing equipment for the paper industry will present its innovative solutions at the international MIAC 2024, which meet the evolving demands of the industry. With a focus on continuous technological progress, emtec´s offerings aim to enhance production efficiency and sustainability.
On October 9, MIAC 2024 will once again open its doors for three days in Lucca, Italy. Visitors will receive a full overview of all innovative technologies and other new products for the production and conversion of paper products. This year, emtec Electronic will once again be presenting its solutions for optimizing and increasing efficiency at its traditional booth C22 and advise on any questions that may arise.
The equipment manufacturer´s product portfolio offers solutions for a wide range of possible situations that occur in many production and converting processes in the pulp, tissue, paper and board sectors: Is the amount of chemicals used in the wet end of production really necessary to achieve the desired product quality or is there potential for savings? Do the process chemicals work and neutralize the trash particles in the pulp? Are the functional chemicals attracting the fibers as desired or are they being lost with the white water? Can the final product quality be predicted based on knowledge of the pulp properties and, in particular, checked during a grade change on a paper machine? Are there automated options for continuous control in the wet end?
And what about fast, simple and accurate measurement of mineral fillers in paper and board? Is it possible to detect not only the total mineral filler content but also the individual fillers and their quantity in the paper? How can the addition of fillers be optimized quickly and energy-efficiently when recycling broke? Is there anything new in the field of measuring softness of tissue products? Does the application of lotion change the thermal haptic of the final product? What new options are available to tissue manufacturers and converters for managing hand feel data?
Are there more detailed analyses of surface properties that are relevant for printing, gluing and coating? Why is one paper rejected by a converter event though the characteristics of the standard specifications do not differ from previous deliveries?
All visitors are cordially invited to stop by the emtec stand C22 at MIAC 2024 to discuss, evaluate and answer these and other questions together with the emtec experts Philipp Sievers and Stefan Ruebesam (emtec Sales Area Manager) as well as the Italian partner Riccardo Cossi from Qi Srl.
