Czech paper machine maker Papcel has signed a deal with Indian paper machine manufacturer JMC. Under the deal, JMC will produce machinery in cooperation with Papcel.
The Czech producer said in a statement it will provide its know-how to the Indian business, and hopes the cooperation will allow it to raise significantly its sales in India, as well as other countries in Asia.
Established in 1950 and headquartered in Litovec, in the Czech Re-public's eastern part, Papcel has about 280 employees.
JMC is based in Gujarat, India, and has a workforce of about 120.
