Earlier this year, holding firm Sequana started a restructuring process for its Arjowiggins Graphic and Arjowiggins Creative divisions in Europe. Since the company hasn’t found any buyer of its businesses, it has put up its Wizernes and Charavines mills in France for sale. According to Euwid Pulp & Paper, Sequana is currently negotiating with potential buyers

If an investor is not found by the end of June 2015 Sequana will permanently close the mills, according to Euwid.

Sequana has also announced plans to withdraw from the US market for coated graphic paper. The company is therefore on the hunt for a buyer of its US subsidiary Appleton Coated, but it denies to leave any comment on how this divestment is going.
