Söderhamn Eriksson has received a new order for the supply of Catech 4000 TS-5 edger optimizer from Norra Timber, the industry division of the northern Swedish forest owner association.
“Norra Timber believes in bandsaws and edger optimizers in the long run, primarily when it comes to yield but also in terms of productivity,” according to the company report. The company will install the new machine at sawmill in Savar.
Catech 4000 is expected to enable Norra Timber to increase capacity and availability both in the edging process and in the saw line. “Catech 4000 TS sets a new standard for high-performance edger optimizers with capacities up to 75 boards/min,” the report added.
Söderhamn Eriksson will deliver the new edging line in September 2015.
