How can paper manufacturers use production data not just selectively, but holistically and in real time for process optimization? Which tool enables the simultaneous and, above all, relative analysis of machine, quality and energy data for store floor control? And what influence does AI have on predictive capability?

With answers to these and other questions, T.CON submitted SMART IOT's application for the Factory Innovation Award 2025 in the "Supplier - Digital Transformation of the Factory" category.

The added value of the solution was examined in several stages by an independent jury consisting of consultants, journalists and scientists. Based on the documents submitted, but ultimately also as part of an intensive, personal pitch.

On the Digital Transformation Stage at Hannover Messe 2025 the official awards ceremony was held. SMART IOT received second place in the "Supplier - Digital Transformation of the Factory" category.

The jury was not only impressed by the core functions of SMART IOT, in particular the AI-supported real-time data analysis for recognizing data relationships and long-term analyses. The use of standard interfaces such as REST and OData as well as the possibility of seamless integration into existing IT architectures also scored points.

The award was accepted by Patrick Beckenkamp, Senior Portfolio Marketing Manager at T.CON: "Second place is an absolute surprise for us and shows once again that our consistent user focus and manufacturing expertise lead to outstanding solutions for our customers. These are not only convincing in practice, but also in such renowned committees. A really great achievement by the entire team."
