In a bid to compensate for continued high costs of raw materials, Ahlstrom will increase the price for masking tape base papers effective 01 April 2015.
The price increase is expected to be up to 7 percent and will affect all masking tape products manufactured globally. “Specific details will be discussed with each customer individually by the appropriate sales teams in the near term future,” according to the company report.
The masking tape materials are produced by the company’s Food and Medical business unit at its facilities in France, China and Finland.
