Wood pulp exports from Russia increased by 10.9 per cent

Wood pulp exports from Russia increased by 10.9% during the first six months of 2015, according to Lesprom Network citing Federal Customs Service of Russia.

However, the volume of Russian exports of newsprint for the reporting period amounted to 573.4 thousand tons, 4.9% lower than a year earlier.

Exports of wood pulp from Russia increased by 5.1% in value and amounted to $524.4 million; exports of newsprint decreased by 27.5% to $237.2 million.
