Ziegler hosts art and print award

Since the Ziegler’s best Award was first presented in 2004, its winners have always been able to look forward to receiving winning trophies designed especially for the event each year. This will be the case once again in 2010. The design of this year’s award was created in collaboration with the Punkt G design school in Zurich.

On Monday, 21 June, the results of a project by Punkt G students were presented to the jury of advertising and design specialists who were to judge the entries for the 2010 Award. 9 students had taken part in the project and they all presented their designs for the potential award. After detailed discussion, a total of four prizes were awarded.

A special prize went to Veronika Futterknecht; Richard Tschumi was awarded the 3rd prize, Schaghik Hayrapetian was awarded the 2nd prize and the proud winner of the 1st prize was Lea Schindler. The Award design she created will be seen at the prize-giving ceremony in Basel on 16 September
