Metsäliitto Cooperative sells its holding in Finsilva Oyj

Metsäliitto Cooperative, the parent company of Metsä Group, has divested its entire holding in Finsilva Oyj, i.e. approximately 20 percent, to Dasos Capital Oy Ltd's forest fund. Contracts between Metsä Group and Finsilva related to wood trade and forest services continue unchanged.

Finsilva owns about 135,000 hectares of forests in Finland.

Metsä Group produces renewable products from northern forests that replace the use of fossil raw materials. Its parent company is Metsäliitto Cooperative which is owned by 100,000 forest owners.
