From February 19 to 21, IDM Test will be presenting innovative testing solutions from the German company emtec Electronic for the pulp and paper industry at the South American key event ExpoAcotepac 2025 in Cali, Colombia.
Leipzig, Germany, 12.02.2025 – At ExpoAcotepac 2025, emtec Electronic´s long-standing partner IDM Test will be showcasing the unbeatably light and intuitive devices CAS Charge Analyzing System and FPA Fiber Potential Analyzer. Both test solutions are used in the wet end of the paper machine and lead to a smoother running production process and higher product quality by enabling demand-based dosing of chemicals. Knowing the cationic demand and pH value of the pulp, as well as information about the zeta potential of the fibers, enables technicians to determine the correct dosage of process chemicals and additives to achieve the desired product properties and reduce resource consumption. Of particular benefit to chemical suppliers is the small size and light weight of the devices, making them easy to transport in a carry-on case for on-the-go measurements and troubleshooting.
