The Bielefeld mill of Mitsubishi HiTec Paper Europe GmbH (MPE), known primarily for producing thermal paper used in POS systems, is set to undergo major restructuring.
As part of streamlining operations, the company plans to eliminate over a third of the 430 positions at the site, according to EUWID. The facility also manufactures carbonless, inkjet, label, and barrier papers.
