ProJet received an order for 2 Power Cleaners (dryer fabric cleaners) from Keryas Paper mill for their Paper Machine # 1. The order is a spin-off of the successful installation of Power Cleaners that were already installed in the Middle East area. The new Cleaners will be installed on 1st and 2nd Unirun. The value of the order will not be disclosed.
ProJet already supplied over 40 Power Cleaners to paper mills in the Middle East the last decade. The HP cleaners are installed in the Forming and Press Sections as well as the Dryer Sections of the machines.
PM1 produces Corrugated Medium and Kraftliner, using 100% OCC. OCC is known for its extreme contamination on the Dryer Section, which is exactly the reason that Keryas Paper chose ProJet again. The equipment is scheduled to be delivered in Q4, 2022 and installation & start-up in later in 2023. Unique about this order is that the Power Cleaner will be ProJet’s Power Cleaner 2.0, the upgraded version. The upgrade consists of a smaller cleaner head, more nozzles at higher pressure and improved vacuum/discharge system. The 2.0 version has a unique 3-stage self cleaning station, that makes the system superior in terms of runnability compared to competitors. The combination of all these improvements is an enormous increase in cleaning efficiency and reduction in maintenance.
